Being the great procrastinators that we are, I am packing today, the day we are moving. I am also alone with a one year old, so this is proving to be quite the task!
As I gather up our things from the past four and a half years I am realizing we entered as "kids" and are leaving as adults. So much as changed in our time here: finishing grad school, getting engaged, getting married, having a baby. It's actually amazing to me how much we have accomplished in just a few short years!
It really has not fully hit me that we are leaving the place that has been our home for so long, our first home together as a couple and as a family.
I find it all very fitting, Noah turning one, the past year behind us, and now a new, fresh, home to make our own. I am usually not one for change, but this is feeling very welcomed right about now!
Noah's party is this weekend, and yes I am crazy since I am not actually living in the house yet, need to move EVERYTHING in a few short days and welcome about 30 guests to a new, very vacant house!
