Each month of Noah's life I took a picture of him on a black sheet...I cut out the number, made sure he was looking at the camera, made sure it was always the exact day he turned X months old.. at the time not sure exactly where I was going with the idea..
Well it just so happened that the pictures made for a cute addition to Noah's invite, and it is also fun to see how he changed from month to month. I cheated this month because I couldn't wait for the 10th to roll around before taking his 11 month photo, I needed to order the cards ASAP.
It was growing increasingly harder for Noah to sit still for the picture, as evidenced by month 10's lack of even facing the camera let along looking at it!!! Last night we practically had to pin Noah down and snap as quickly as possible to get the 11 month shot...I am learning to be less of a perfectionist with an *almost* toddler.
I used Scrapblog.com by the way to make the invites- it's a really cool, easy to use, free digital scrap booking site, and they just added the option to print them into cards or books. I think they came out pretty cute and I am sure the grandparents will all agree when they get this in the mail =)
