A good laugh
Back in our younger days my husband and I were really funny and always had a great time pulling some kind of joke or laughing at our own insane humor. Lately we have been so adult and stressed and heavy and a huge part of me misses how carefree we were. Last night Discover Card called for the umpteenth time. Seriously. They call every.single.night. and read this stupid paragraph about some payment protection plan. So last night my husband answers the phone and he pretends to be me....he sounded like Mrs. Doubtfire. The discover card guy obviously realizes he is a man and hangs up, only to call right back ( mind you it's 8:55pm). So I answer it this time and I pretend to be a man with a deep husky voice and a southern drawl. The dicover card guy keeps saying " Mrs. K is that you, Mrs. K????", I kept repeating no sir, she's in the bathroom ( in my husky drawl). When we hung up my husband and I laughed for 10 minutes straight, just like the old days!!!!

my hubby and I too aren't as funny as we used to be. sigh. thanks for the reminder.... hmmm, off to thnk of a prank or two! haha.
Wait till Noah really starts talking... and then imitate him at night with each other... you will get a lot of laughs then! My husband always cracks me up imitating the hilarious things that Adam says. =)
