6 days to go....

I can't hardly believe that there are only 6 days left until 2009. Where did time go? I will also be turning 28 in 3 weeks so it feels like time is just ticking in my ear!  I have been able to truly enjoy the holiday season and have been doing a lot of reflecting on the past year and my hopes for 2009. I know that this blog hasn't always been the most positive thing to read but it's been filled with a lot of emotion from the past year. 

I want to leave off my last posts of 2008 with positive memories from the year since it was my baby's first year on this earth and those days were so precious to me. A lot of shit went down for us in 2008 but a lot of good happened to. Time to rejoice in the good for once! 

I am going to count down each day with two months, two pictures, and two memories from those months- enjoy a peek into Noah's 2008!

January: This first picture was taken last january, Noah was starting to smile on a regular basis and his personality was starting to emerge. Noah's smiles were a HUGE thing for me because it was the start of him hitting his developmental milestones on target and it was the start of me starting to chill out a bit and enjoy him! In January I also got over my fear of driving on the car alone with the baby and since I was still on maternity leave had a lot of fun going to the mall duringthe day and buying cute clothes for my little man. This picture was taken on a lazy sunday afternoon, Noah was cheesing it up for daddy.

February:

The second picture is from a weekend in february. My husband and I were going out to look for a new "mom" car for me and we dropped Noah off with my parents for the day. I was a wreck, still at the point where I didn't want to leave him. I had just gone back to work and was struggling with that and cherished my weekend time with my boy. I just LOVE this outfit and I remember that day so clearly. Shortly after tummy time Noah puked all over himself, and his adorable coordinated outfit!
